Photographer's Statement:

I’ve been shooting color since the early ‘80s. Prior to that, most of my works were done in Black and White for various newspapers. Having been to over 30 and more countries and not finding a single gallery where I can share my large collection of photographs of the world; now, finally, I can put all of them in a single place: My own Website. The feeling is of great relief. It’s almost like giving birth after almost 3 decades of pregnancy. The heavy burden was lifted from my shoulder at last. The truth is, we don’t take pictures for ourselves. We take pictures to share with our friends, relatives, loved ones and, in my case, with the rest of the world. I hope that these pictures you are looking at will bring back a little bit of your travel memories and perhaps encourage you to travel again. My goal has always been to capture our diminishing culture around the world with special attention to minority groups. My approach has always been to treat them with respect. Time is running out for many of the tribal people in the world and I hope that my attempt to archive them in photographs isn't too late. And your support of this site will help me to continue the next journey of this worthy cause. ***
